A Guide for Authors, Contributors, and Institutional Evaluators
M.E. Publications provides this guide to assist authors and contributors in identifying the appropriate supporting documents when questions or documentary requirements arise during academic evaluation, promotion, accreditation, reclassification, or other institutional review.
Many commonly requested records are already included in the individual M.E. Publications Documentation Kit issued to each contributor. Before requesting an additional certification, please identify the concern below and refer to the indicated document title and page number.
Where additional institutional clarification or verification is necessary, the appropriate official reference or online resource is also provided.

Where an evaluator specifically requests evidence of affiliation with literary, academic, professional, educational, or cultural organizations, the applicable external certification may be submitted.

05 | AUTHORSHIP AND ORIGINALITY OF THE CREATIVE WORK
This section addresses concerns such as:

Is the creative work original?

Was the work actually written by the identified author?

Is there certification of authorship?
-
Can the author's University certify the originality of the work?

The evaluator requires the work to be “original and certified by the University.”

Is publisher certification alone sufficient to establish institutional certification of originality?
IMPORTANT DISTINCTION
M.E. Publications can certify matters within its own publishing and editorial records, including editorial review, selection, acceptance, and publication.
However, when an evaluator specifically requires University or institutional certification of authorship and originality, the appropriate certification should be secured from the author's own University/Institution or other duly authorized institutional office.

IMPORTANT REMINDER
Please check your Documentation Kit before requesting an additional document.
Many requirements commonly raised during evaluation, particularly those concerning editorial review, selection, workflow, acceptance, publishing authorization, and proof of publication, are already addressed in the Documentation Kit issued to each contributor.
Additional certifications should only be requested when the evaluator requires evidence not already contained in the contributor's official records.
When responding to an evaluator, authors are encouraged to submit only the documents relevant to the specific concern raised rather than submitting unrelated records.
